Microsoft Systems Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to participate in the systems support of our software applications. In this role the candidate will provide service to our clients to ensure the effective operation and use of software applications. Duties may include:

Builds and maintains hardware/software platforms in support of software applications
Trouble shoot, diagnose and solve software systems problems
Trouble shoot, diagnose and solve network support problems
Monitors and manages a server farm supporting software applications
Coordinate the troubleshooting and resolving of all technical issues
Assists in the setup and implementation of software applications
Provides data reports for system management analysis reports
Perform planning, coordinating, testing and installation of new updates/releases.
Understands client processes for the management of the government granting service cycle
Ensure application quality service level commitments are met and that work orders are properly managed
Establish backup and recovery policies and procedures

The ideal candidate must have:

2 years experience with Windows Server 2003/2008
2 years experience in Microsoft systems and or network support, in particular, experience building , managing, and troubleshoot existing network and system environments based on the Microsoft Windows Server
2 years experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Experience in Virtual Machine management (i.e. Hyper V)
Good people skills
Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology, or equivalent

It is desirable that the candidate also have:

Experience and/or certifications with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SharePoint
Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator or Engineer certification
Experience in delivering facilitated or web based training courses
Domain experience in government granting services

Programmer Analyst

Project Background

The iPerform Suite Project is aimed at facilitating the management and automation of generic standard processes and forms for various markets (regulatory, client management, risk management, and many others). It aims to provide people with the tools to conduct their day to day activities with more ease. It also seeks to fulfill the planning and reporting needs of senior management. We are looking for a skilled individual to participate in the detailed design of the various iPerform Suite component and to further develop the system using Microsoft Technologies (ASP.NET, C#, CRM 4.0, IIS and MS SQL).

Required QualificationsThe ideal candidate must have:

2 years experience in analysis & design
3 years experience in web application development
3 years experience with ASP.NET 2.0+, C#, IIS
Fluent in English or French
Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent

The ideal candidate should also have:

Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Experience in data modelling
Exposure to svn
